Fruits for Weight Loss. Part 2.

Experts assert that all citruses including lemon, lime, orange, tangerine, and of course, grapefruit is the best choice as fruits for weight loss.

Citrus fruits are not only sources of vitamins, they contain flavonoids - a group of substances that burn fat. In addition, citrus fruits are high in fiber, which cleanses the gastrointestinal tract, splits fats and removes the excess water from the body.

Grapefruit is the most low-calorie fruit. It contains a large amount of water, vitamin C and enzymes that burn fat, stimulate the liver and help get rid of toxins. Red grapefruit protects people from developing cancer, protects the cell membrane, and supports heart function and metabolism. You can satisfy your appetite with grapefruit. However, it is not recommended for people with high acidity.

Orange is the next fruit to eat often. This fruit is the main enemy of the fat around the stomach.

Lemon is one of the most useful fruits to cleanse the body; it helps to boost vitality, energy and, as well, melts the fat. It is rich in minerals like magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, copper and manganese. It has antibiotic properties and this is why lemon should be used in cold and flu season. It is recommended to squeeze a lemon in a glass of warm water and drink every morning.
