Lemon Detox Tips

Lemon gives us a lot of energy, gets toxins out of system, stimulates burning of fats, and significantly improves complexion of the face. This citrus is a real well of vitamins and other useful substances.

The first stage of lemon detox is cleansing a body from toxins. After body cleansing digestion normalizes, fixation of useful substances in a body increases, overall health improves. Detox does not mean starvation or radical change of a habitual diet. Indeed, depriving a body of food, we put it to a stressful condition. As a result, instead of excretion of toxins, we will observe the inverse – the organism will start to reserve everything that is possible, and to accumulate even more toxins.

However, it is necessary to drink not just water but water with lemon juice. For making such lemonade we need to mix 2 glasses of water with 2 tablespoons of squeezed lemon juice. The water must be warm, or, at least, have a room temperature. Even if you don’t like the taste of this drink, your liver will like it! To improve the taste of the lemonade it is possible to add a little vanilla or cinnamon to it. A glass of such lemonade should be taken right after waking up, and then before each meal including second breakfast at 10 a.m. and afternoon’s snack at 4 p.m.

In order to speed up the process of clarifying the body and to stimulate extra weight loss it will be not superfluous to stick to sensible and balanced nutrition. Choose light and healthy dishes, various salads, fermented milk products, fruit, and first courses, a little bit of coarse bread, boiled meat or baked fish. An hour before going to bed, drink a last glass of water with lemon juice. You will be surprised, but as a result of such a detox system you will feel freshly and light.

Besides stimulating digestion, lemon and water help our liver to function. They also promote lowering of appetite because, taking enough liquid before a meal, you prevent "gargantuan appetite" attacks, and your meal portions will gradually become twice as little as they used to be.
