For the juice diet, you'll replace your food consumption for two days with fruit and vegetable juice. For example, you need to drink 600 ml. of fresh juice diluted with 200 ml. of water in four draughts a day. You should sip slowly. Drink various juices, mix fruit and vegetables juices, as you wish. Especially effective products for weight loss are carrot, spinach, oranges, grapefruits, cabbage, celery, apples. Also you can add some hips decoction.

You can keep juice diet once per 2-3 weeks. You’d better to do it in the weekend, when you will be able to make juice as soon as being hungry. When you don’t keep the diet, you should remember about fine qualities of juices. Drink a glass of any juice in 20 minutes before meal and sometimes replace supper by juice.

Diet “Traffic Lights”The idea of this diet is to eat only products of definite color 3 days a week. Traffic lights days can follow on end, but also can alternate with ordinary days. For example: Monday, Wednesday and Friday are Traffic lights days, Tuesday and Thursday are ordinary days.
It’s better to keep this diet for a month or more. Produce of Traffic lights days can be prepared by any way: bake, boil in the water or steam, roast on the vegetable oil or make the salad. In the other days you should eat as usual, keeping off the fried potatoes, bread, fast-food, chocolate, patties, sausages, mayonnaise and macaroni.

The Red Day – eat only red produce. It can be tomatoes, red sweet pepper, red beet, red kidney bean, red apples, red cabbage, cranberries, strawberries and even red wine.

The Yellow Day – eat only produce of yellow color. They are yellow sweet pepper, any citrus fruits, carrot, yellow lentil, corn, turnip, pumpkin, yellow apples and pears, bananas.

The Green Day – the time of green food: cucumbers, green sweet pepper, lettuce, broccoli, white cabbage, Brussels sprouts, celery, leek, green peas, green apples, fresh green.

During vegetable diet you should eat 1,5 kg. of vegetables every day. Recommended products are fresh vegetables (carrot, squash, green haricot, cucumbers, lettuce, pumpkin, potato, green), fresh fruits (apples), non-fat milk, yoghurt, kefir, curds, corn flakes or oaten flakes, rye or grain bread.

You can prepare vegetables by any way, except frying or roasting in the oil. Boil, stew, make grill, in the steamer, make various salads. This diet is meant for one month.

Day Three.
Breakfast. Green tea without sugar. 1 corn biscuit. A piece of black bread with honey. Any seasonable fruit.
Dinner. Fresh carrot with caraway. Non-fat fish with spices, baked in foil. Any seasonable fruit.
Lunch. Cleansing tea. If you are hungry, eat one rice cookie.
Supper. Pumpkin puree with parsley and some karri. Natural yoghurt. Cleansing tea.

It was created by dietician Madeleine Gesta for movie stars who had to lose a lot of weight in a short while. This diet should make you lose four to six pounds per week. Gesta diet is at the same time a good way for general recovery. It takes only two days and includes proteins, calcium, and vitamins that provide energy. It is characterized by balance, relaxation, and a lot of rest.

The diet has two phases. The first phase allows the body’s cleansing of toxins and the second is of stabilization. The diet has three meals per day. Each meal follows the four-two-one ratio (four parts glucids, two parts proteins, and a part of lipids). The amount of recommended food for a meal is eighteen ounces. For this diet you should 0.40 gallons of water daily but never during meals.

Saturday. In the morning, when you wake up, drink with small swigs 0.13 gallons of water for toxins elimination. After thirty minutes, drink a grapefruit juice (very rich in vitamin C and potassium). After fifteen minutes, drink a can of fat-free milk with a teaspoon of cocoa and one of honey.

At lunch, eat seven ounces of fish, boiled in steams or prepared in the oven. You may add lemon juice and olive oil. Two hours later you can eat a yogurt with a teaspoon of honey because it stimulates intestinal transit.

In the afternoon, drink a glass of water with the juice from a lemon and a teaspoon of honey.

Dinner: boil for twenty minutes in 0.40 gallons of water two ounces of leek, seventeen ounces of carrots, seventeen ounces of tomatoes, two roots of celery, and some savory. Drink three bowls of soup at a ten minutes interval then eat three bowls of boiled vegetables with at a twenty minutes interval. Vinegreta is a cold sauce made of pickle, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Sunday. During the first five hours, the body needs to absorb the liquids so you need to rest as much as possible. The menu from the first day is the same for lunch and morning.

And what is more, these drinks can help you to decrease the appetite. And in the same time such drinks will give you all nutrients and vitamins necessary during a strict diet.

Lemon and honey. Water with lemon segment and teaspoon honey dispel appetit finely. If you are hungry, you can drink this cocktail. As a rule effect from this drink lasts for an hour. You can drink this cocktail again, if your diet doesn’t offer any dish as yet.

Decoction from dried fruits. As dried fruits, you can take dried apricots, apples and prunes. To prepare 1 liter of decoction, take a handful of dried fruits and put it into boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Then keep the decoction in the cold place to cool. Drink in 1 glass when you are very hungry.

Fruit compote. Maybe you’ll be surprised but compotes are able to sate very well, especially if you boil compote from fresh apricots, raspberries, strawberries, cherries or mulberries. There is no need to add sugar, simply add a tablespoon honey for 2 liters of water. Then compote will have more saturated taste.

Hips with honey. Pour one teaspoon of hips with ½ glass of boiling water and keep for half an hour. Then add a teaspoon of honey and drink if you are hungry.
