Salad is The Main Dish of Any Diet

Salad is The Main Dish of Any DietSure you agree with me that salad is the main dish of any diet. Good salad can contain more useful and tasty ingredients than couple of tomatoes and lettuce. Adding fruits, nuts and other famous ingredients, you will see more positive changes in your weight and health. Let’s look at constituents of the salad for weight loss and great health.

Most of green contains salt of folic acid, vitamin B, needed for normal functioning of red blood cells. Also green has the great number of vitamin A and antioxidant, which protect your organism from early ageing.

All fruits have the great number of nutrients (especially vitamin C and potassium). Fruits have less fat and calories. It is well-known fact.

Nuts and seeds
A quarter of glass with nuts or seeds gives you 5 grams of high-qualified proteins and great number of vitamin E, fibers and minerals. Also nuts are rich with fat, but it is the most useful kind of fat – unsaturated.

Tomatoes contain vitamin C, potassium and folats. Also tomatoes have vegetal matters, which help to lower cholesterol level.

Onion is the rich source of many useful matters, which fight against cancer and many other chronic diseases.

Vegetable oils
Vegetable oils are rich in vitamin E and unsaturated fats (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated), which have a great effect for weight loss. Olive oil is rich in antioxidants also.

Fat fish like salmon or tunny-fish, contains fat acids Omega-3, which help to cardiac work. At least 100 grams fish must be eaten every day for great effect.

The Fastest Way to Lose Weight

The Fastest Way to Lose WeightMark Twain says, "A little starvation can really do more for the average sick man than can the best medicines and the best doctors. I do not mean a restricted diet; I mean total abstinence from food for one or two days. I speak from experience; starvation has been my cold and fever doctor for 15 years, and has accomplished a cure in all instances."

It seems that Mark Twain did mean fasting, not starvation, because fasting starts with the omission of the first meal and ends with the return of natural hunger, while starvation only begins with the return of natural hunger and terminates in death. Natural hunger is the body saying that it is time to stop the fast.

Fasting is an effective and safe method of detoxifying the body. Fasting provides a period of concentrated physiological rest during which time the body can devote its self-healing mechanisms to repairing and strengthening damaged organs. The process of fasting also allows the body to cleanse cells of accumulated toxins and waste products.

One of the commonest complaints of the sick is that they have "lost their appetite". Loss of appetite is an indication that the system is overcharged with toxins. That is why they lose appetite – their body is telling them to stop eating and give a chance to the waste accumulation in the organs to escape from the system. In fact, the greatest blessing to them would be to lose their appetite long enough to find their hunger.

Each time you complete a fast, you will feel better. Your body will have a chance to heal and rebuild its immune system. You can fight off illness and the degenerative diseases so common in this chemically polluted environment we live in. When you feel a cold or illness coming on or are just depressed - fast!

It is important to understand that the key part of a fast is how a person lives after the fast. Fasting can provide a clean and revitalized foundation upon which you can build and maintain a strong and well-conditioned body by consistently making healthy food and lifestyle choices. Fasting can help reverse the aging process, and if we use it correctly, we will live longer, happier lives.

Of course, certain people who have medical problems should not fast or do so only under direct medical supervision. If you have very low fat reserves to begin with or suffer from anemia, bulimia or anorexia you should not fast. Pregnant or nursing women should also not start a fasting program. These people should pursue other methods of detoxification.

Indian Diet is Vegetarian Diet

Indian Diet is Vegetarian DietSure Indian diet is vegetarian diet. Suffice it to see the traditional menu of Indian diet. It offers to eat definite products every day:
1) 2-3 fruits (raw or dried during a meal, and also before and after meal);
2) raw vegetables with sauce from natural yoghurt, cottage cheese, seaweeds with soy;
3) boiled vegetables, prepared in pressure cooker (all vitamins and minerals keep good), for dinner and supper. Don’t forget about soups – hot or cold;
4) cereal dishes;
5) three dairy produce: sour clotted milk, natural yoghurt, cottage cheese;
6) nuts (almonds, filbert, sunflower seeds, sesame).

Here is the model of one-day menu.
Breakfast: juice from fresh fruits or vegetables, tea (with piece of lemon or with milk, but sugar free), cereals with cup of non-fat milk.

Dinner: salad from cucumbers with yoghurt dressing and some seeds of sesame, plate of rice with lentil (tree parts rice for one part lentil) with boiled carrot or plate of cooked semolina with beans and vegetables, or the portion of cottage cheese and salad from fresh fruits.

Supper: salad from soy sprouts, tomatoes and mushrooms, plus vegetable baking pudding with piece of bread or two medium-timed eggs with spinach and toast, or soy stake with vegetable cutlet, and plus natural yoghurt and apple compote.
